Man stabbed in thigh outside Seattle restaurant

A man was stabbed during a large disturbance outside a North Seattle restaurant about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to Seattle Police, the man had gone outside a restaurant in the 10000 block of Aurora Avenue North to smoke a cigarette and saw the crowd and asked someone he recognized what was going on. His acquaintance told him it was none of his business and stabbed him in the thigh and left.

Seattle firefighters arrived to treat the victim and were met by an unruly crowd. Firefighters called for police backup. When police arrived, the victim, whose injuries were not life-threatening, refused to identify the suspect. The knife was recovered at the scene.
