Update 9:25 a.m.: Seattle City Light says that two customers in Burien remain without power this morning. A City Light spokesman said power is expected to restored shortly before 11:30 a.m.
Update 7 a.m.: Seattle City Light estimates about 3,500 customers are still without power in Northeast Seattle after a tree caused an outage. Seattle City Light said power could be restored as early as 9 a.m. Check outages in your neighborhood.
Original post: More than 5,000 customers lost power overnight in Northeast Seattle as well as West and South Seattle, according to Seattle City Light.
Crews are investigating and working to restore power.
High winds and wind gusts are blowing through the area.
