There will be no Seattle-Everett passenger-train service on Sounder and Amtrak until early Wednesday.
Mudslides at Seattle’s Golden Gardens Park on Sunday and in Edmonds on Monday have shut down the train service until then.
Sound Transit scheduled two special buses for travelers, one leaving the traffic circle at the platform of the Mukilteo station at 6:26 a.m. and 7:26 a.m., and the other from the north side of the Amtrak lot of the Edmonds station at 6:41 a.m. and 7:41 a.m.
Everett-to-Seattle travelers can take the regularly scheduled Sound Transit Express Route 510 bus, which leaves Everett Station bay C1 every 10 to 15 minutes.
Yet another Sunday mudslide — between Tacoma and Olympia — will shut down train service there until Wednesday as well.
