ORIGINAL POST | A 13-year-old boy died after he was unintentionally shot by another teen boy as the two were hanging out with friends in Puyallup this afternoon, police said.
Puyallup Police and Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, responding to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of 11th Street Southeast around 3 p.m., found a teen inside who appeared to have a life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest. Another boy was there rendering aid.
The initial investigation suggests four boys were at one of their houses without adult supervision. One pulled out a shotgun and showed it to the group. A second grabbed the gun, and a few moments later one of the four was fatally shot.
