A man and woman were arrested this morning after a police pursuit ended when their SUV overturned near Marysville, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is reporting.

The chase started after a sheriff’s deputy spotted the SUV, which was reported to have been used earlier this month in the armed robbery of an espresso stand in the Machias area. The deputy tried to pull the SUV over, but the driver sped off, the sheriff’s office said.

During the ensuing chase the driver rammed three patrol cars, the sheriff’s office said. The chase ended when the suspects’ SUV overturned off Quil Ceda Boulevard in Tulalip.

Two suspects, a 30-year-old woman and 32 year-old man, were arrested. They were not injured, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office says it’s unclear if they were responsible for the espresso-stand robbery, which remains under investigation.
