Police puzzled by ax attack in Wenatchee

The Associated Press

WENATCHEE  — Police say they don’t know the motive for an ax attack in Wenatchee.

They say a 27-year-old man hit a 32-year-old man in the shoulder and arm with an ax Sunday afternoon in the side yard of a residence.

The victim was treated at a hospital and released.

The Wenatchee World reports the suspect was arrested walking a few blocks away.
