Possible homicide investigated in southeast King County

UPDATE 11:10 a.m.:

King County sheriff’s investigators say that a 27-year-old man was found dead inside a home in the 17800 block of Lake Desire Drive Southeast, near Renton, just after 10:30 last night.

Detectives are investigating the case as a homicide.

A law enforcement source said the man lived at the home.  The source said the man appeared to have been shot.

ORIGINAL POST:

The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of a body near Lake Desire in Southeast King County.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West said detectives are investigating the case as a homicide. West said more information will be released later today.

Lake Desire is southeast of Renton.
