ORIGINAL POST | Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass and Highway 2 over Stevens Pass are closed in both directions because of dangerous road conditions, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
I-90 is closed at Snoqualmie Pass from milepost 34 near North Bend to milepost 106 near Ellensburg and should reopen around 10 p.m., WSDOT said. There is no estimated time yet for the reopening of Stevens Pass.
Compact snow, slush and ice on the roadways caused multiple collisions and spinouts on the passes, WSDOT said.
