Snoqualmie Pass is open

Snoqualmie Pass is open this morning after being closed yesterday due to dangerous road conditions.

Right now traction tires are required and chains required on vehicles over 10,000 gross weight, says the state Department of Transportation.

There’s snow, slush and ice on the roadway and it was snowing as of 5:30 a.m.

Stevens Pass, which was closed yesterday due to weather conditions, was reopened last night, but chains are required.
