Suspected burglar found by cleaning crew in Seattle building

A suspected burglar fled from a commercial building in Queen Anne Square after he was discovered by a cleaning crew early this morning.

Despite a search for the suspect with a K-9 unit, the suspect remains at large, according to Seattle police.

Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the man broke a window to gain access to the building in the 200 block of West Mercer Street.

He was discovered inside the building by a custodial crew, which called police around 1:18 a.m. Before officers arrived, the man broke out another window and fled, police said.

Police said it is not known whether anything was taken from the building.
