Tuesday Memo: Microsoft’s new CEO … Boeing’s S.C. problem … Seahawks bring the bling

Microsoft’s new honcho: If you haven’t already heard — and we’re pretty sure you have — Microsoft has its new CEO,  Satya Nadella. Founder Bill Gates is no longer chairman of the board, but will become founder and technology adviser. Microsoft says Gates will give support to Nadella in “shaping technology and product direction.”

Boeing woes: An increase in production has Boeing’s South Carolina facility struggling to complete sections of the 787 fuselage, and those pieces are arriving in Everett not quite as finished as they were before.

The Super Bowl trophy: We hear that the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophy will be one participant in the Seahawks parade in downtown Seattle tomorrow. That puppy is made of 100 percent sterling silver and weighs seven pounds.

Weather: We told you yesterday it was going to be mighty chilly. Sunny, but cold … Deep freeze forecast this week across Washington
