Bellevue launches interactive map of capital projects

If you live in Bellevue, there’s a new way to see what’s being built or improved in your neighborhood. The City of Bellevue has debuted an interactive map of capital projects.

By clicking on one of the highlighted roads or locations, you can see a description of the project, schedule, estimated cost and get the contact information for the project manager.

“This application provides a fast and easy way for citizens to pinpoint projects around the city if they would like more information about a particular project,” said Wendy Hairfield, Utilities community relations specialist in a press release. “It’s also interesting to see multiple project locations at a glance.”

It’s a little quirky (use the home button in the bottom left corner to re-read the directions) and requires a well-aimed cursor, but it’s a comprehensive way to look at the dozens of projects either planned or in progress around Bellevue.
