Bothell woman, 51, arrested in assault of man, 91

A 51-year-old woman was arrested in Bothell Tuesday morning after she allegedly assaulted a 91-year-old man in the home they share.

Police responded to reports of an assault in the 17300 block of Woodcrest Drive around 11:30 a.m.,  according to the Bothell Police Department. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The woman was booked into King County Jail for investigation of attempted second-degree homicide.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
