Everett police find grenade under seat of stolen scooter

A 26-year-old man arrested by Everett Police overnight told officers he had a grenade under the seat of a scooter stolen in Seattle.

When police checked the scooter, they did find a grenade under the seat.

The bomb squad was called in to remove the grenade. It has not yet been determined if it is live.

The man, who was wanted on outstanding warrants, was jailed.
