Man struck by car of fleeing burglar

A Rainier Valley man was struck by the car of  a suspected burglar fleeing from the crime scene Wednesday night, according to police.

People living along the 4500 block of South Kenny Street called 911 just before 8 p.m. to report one or two men casing a house.  They neighbors were watching the house when they heard breaking glass.

Police got a second call that one of the neighbors had been hit by the suspect’s vehicle as he tried to get away.

Responding officers found the injured person with another neighbor at Rainier Avenue South and South Kenny Street.

The victim,  suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, said Det. Renee Witt with Seattle Police

Police are looking for a gray Honda CRV with a damaged passenger side window.
