Northline Sounder service between Everett and Seattle is canceled Thursday because of a mudslide, according to Sound Transit.
Sound Transit will provide special buses with direct service to and from Northline Sounder stations, in addition to local bus service. Updates to the evening bus service will be provided as it becomes available.
Regular train service is expected to resume Friday for the morning commute.
Thursday bus service:
Everett-Seattle: Special buses will depart Everett Station at 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. in the Greyhound loading area. Riders may also board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 510 departing every 10 minutes.
Mukilteo-Seattle: Special buses will depart Mukilteo Station at 6:26 a.m. and 7:26 a.m. at the traffic circle at the train platform. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 417 at the Ferry Terminal departing at 5:49 a.m., 6:21 a.m., 6:51 am, 7:21 a.m., and 7:53 a.m.
Edmonds-Seattle: Special buses will depart Edmonds Station at 6:41 a.m. and 7:41 a.m. at the north side of the Amtrak lot. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 416 at Edmonds Station departing at 5:45 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 6:34 a.m., 6:55 a.m., and 7:42 a.m.
