Oregon officers find car driven by missing Federal Way man

Officers located the car belonging to a missing Federal Way man this afternoon at an Interstate 5 rest area north of Albany, Ore., according to the Oregon State Police.

Adam Standridge, 32, was reported missing Monday when he didn’t return home after he went to meet with an unknown person at a Federal Way park on Sunday, police said.

The Federal Way police Department requested OSP check the northbound I-5 Santiam rest stop for a silver 2012 Dodge Avenger with Washington license plates believed to be driven by Standridge. Troopers located the abandoned and locked car, but found no signs of Standridge. The car was first reported at the rest stop at 8 a.m. Monday.

Standridge is a white male, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He is possible wearing the same jacket as the one in his photo. Anyone with information is asked to call the Federal Police Department at 253-835-6791 or the OSP Northern Command Center dispatch at 800-542-7888.
