Victim of fatal stabbing in Tukwila identified

A woman who was fatally stabbed in Tukwila Friday night has been identified as Michelle L. Morris, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Morris, 25, was stabbed multiple times during a fight in the 5400 block of Southcenter Boulevard, according to the Tukwila Police Department. Officers responded to a call of a man and a woman fighting on the side of the road around 10:44 p.m. Friday and found Morris on the ground suffering from stab wounds when they arrived. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where she was pronounced dead Saturday.

Witnesses reported seeing a male run away from the scene, police said. The man is described as  in his mid 20s,  5-foot-11 to 6-feet tall, about 220 pounds and wearing a gray sweater, dark jeans and dark-colored shoes. He was last seen headed eastbound on Southcenter Boulevard.
