Officers discovered damage to three vehicles and a house while investigating a call Thursday evening in South Seattle.
Seattle police say officers responded to 911 calls of shots fired near Beacon Avenue South and South Leo Street around 7:45 p.m. The suspect, or suspects, and the vehicle involved were gone by the time officers arrived, police said.
No one was injured, but officers discovered that three vehicles and one house in the 11000 block of Beacon Avenue South had been damaged by the gunfire, police said.
Witnesses reported that a male suspect in his 20s, with dreadlocks and wearing black clothing, got out of the passenger side of a white pickup truck and fled southbound on foot at the time of the shootings, according to police.
An area search for the suspect was unsuccessful, police said.
