Everett man dies in motorcycle accident

A 36-year-old Everett man was killed Sunday when his motorcycle collided with a car in the 4900 block of Evergreen Way in Everett.

Everett Police say the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Evergreen Way around 3 p.m. when a car going southbound, driven by 62-year-old man, made a left-hand turn in front of the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist tried to stop, but collided with the car, police said. The cyclist was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

Police said they do not know of alcohol, drugs or speed were factors in the collision. An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
