The family of a man who was fatally shot Sunday night in Skyway is offering a $1,000 reward for information on his killer, the King County Sheriff’s Office said.

The body of Leroy Henderson, 30, was found in the 12200 block of 68th Avenue South shortly after 11:45 p.m. The sheriff’s office says Henderson had been walking home from a nearby store when he was shot.

No witnesses have been located.

He was known to regularly walk in the Skyway area between his home and the Skyway Bowl, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office released this photo of Henderson shortly before he was killed.

Anyone with information on the homicide is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS to remain anonymous and be eligible for an additional $1,000 reward. Or they can call the sheriff’s Communications Center at 206-296-3311.
