UPDATE 10:15 a.m.: Fire investigators say the fire did an estimated $270,000 in damage. The cause for the fire is not yet known. No one was injured.
UPDATE 8 a.m: Investigators will be on the scene of the boat fire Friday to learn more about the possible cause and the dollar value of damage done by the fire, said Seattle Fire Lt. Sue Stangl. She said the two boats involved appeared to be in the 30-to-35-foot range. They were not in covered moorage and there was minimal damage to the dock.
