Man fatally shot Friday in Leschi identified

The man who was fatally shot Friday night in Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood has been identified as Ronnie Brown, 36, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Brown was found lying in the street with gunshot wounds at 28th Avenue South and South Charles Street just before 11 p.m. Friday, according to the Seattle Police Department. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported several vehicles leaving the area after the shooting, but no one provided a suspect description. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department at 206-625-5011.
