A 22-year-old man is recovering after being stabbed in the abdomen Friday night in Pioneer Square.
Seattle police say the man was walking with a group of people he did not know in the 200 block of First Avenue South around 11 p.m., when one of the men in the group turned and stabbed him twice in the abdomen.
The attacker ran south, police said, and the victim managed to walk to a bar, where employees called 911. Officers searched the area for the suspect, but didn’t find him.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
