Masked men take safe, pot from Beacon Hill home

Two armed masked men forced their way into a Beacon Hill home early Monday, threatened to kill the victim’s child, then made off with marijuana and a cash-filled safe, according to Seattle police.

Police said the two men entered the home in the 2500 block of South Juneau Street around 4 a.m., where the victim and a guest were asleep on couches.

The female victim was thrown to the floor and struck in the head with a pistol, police said. The robbers then ordered the woman to tell them where they could find the marijuana and safe and also threatened to kill the woman’s 4-year-old daughter, police said.

Police said the robbers fled with two backpacks of marijuana and a cash-filled safe.

The victim’s guest chased the men and may have  followed them in his car, but did not return to the house to speak with investigators, police said.

The suspect descriptions were vague, police said.

The victim was not seriously injured and declined to be treated by the medics, according to police.
