ATV fatality, alcohol involved: An Omak man was arrested over the weekend after a passenger on the man’s ATV died when the vehicle went off a cliff and landed in a lake. The passenger was fastened to the ATV with a seatbelt and sank with the vehicle. Police say alcohol was involved. The ATV operator was booked into jail for investigation of vehicular homicide. The Spokesman Review has the story.

10-year-old driving in fatal crash: A 46-year-old man was teaching his 10-year-old to drive when their pickup crashed into a canal near Coulee City, killing the boy’s father and 8-year-old brother. What can you say about this? Perhaps you’re just shaking your head.
