All 39 victims identified in Snohomish County mudslide

All 39 victims of the Oso-area mudslide have been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

This morning the office released the names of victims:

Wyatt Ruthven, 4,  Sandra K. Miller, 64, and Ronald P. DeQuilettes, 52.

Wyatt was killed with his parents, Shane Ruthven and Katie Ruthven, his brother, Hunter, 6, and his grandparents, JuDee Vandenburg and Lou Vandenburg.

Miller was killed with her husband, Larry. The Millers were slowly moving into a grand home they had been building near a bend in the Stillaguamish River when the slide hit.

DeQuillettes, an electrical contractor who also did blacktop installation work, was at Larry and Sandy Miller’s house to give an estimate for a new driveway when the slide hit.

After the names were released this morning the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office dropped the missing persons list to four. The missing include:

  1. Steven Hadaway, 53
  2. Steve Harris, 52
  3. Theresa Harris, 53
  4. Molly Kristine “Kris” Regelbrugge, 44
