Tuesday Memo: Baggage thieves … Shots fired at car … No booze on party buses?

As if we didn’t already have enough crummy little problems … Thieves are posing as passengers and grabbing luggage off carousels at Sea-Tac Airport. Spokesman Perry Cooper says the thieves target bags that have gone around three or four times and then take them. . KIRO has the story.

Now this is scary: Someone fired six shots into a Lakewood woman’s car as she drove along I-5 in Fife Sunday afternoon. She was not hit by any of the bullets, but  one did buzz right by the top of her head. Can you imagine? Fife police want to talk to anyone who knows anything about the shooting. We would think so. KING-TV reports.

The Mariners’ home opener is today and it could be wet. Will the roof be closed? We’re guessing it will. Are you going to the game tonight? Tell us in our poll.

Weather: As we’ve already said, rain today, but we’ll have some sun tomorrow and Thursday. National Weather Service forecast

Ever get plastered on a party bus? The state Utilities and Transportation Commission recommends in a report that booze be banned in these buses and plans to tell state lawmakers about it. KOMO has the story.
