Kitchen fire put out at Capitol Hill apartment

Seattle Fire Department medics are evaluating the condition of one patient after a fire broke out at an apartment on Capitol Hill this morning.

The fire was in the kitchen of a second floor apartment in the 400 block of Bellevue Avenue East, according to the fire department.

The fire was put out within a short time after firefighters arrived.
