A 31 year-old man was arrested last night after he fired a gun on a woman’s front porch, Seattle police said.
A woman called 911 just after 10 p.m. to report that her friend’s ex-boyfriend, who was armed, was on her porch in the 1900 block of South Lander Street, pounding on the door and making threats, according to police. The man fired a gun on the porch before driving off.
The woman and her nine-month-old child were not hurt, police said.
Police located the suspected gunman and two other men in a car on Beacon Hill. He was arrested for a felony charge stemming from the shooting and felony harassment. The man’s brother, 26, was arrested on a firearms possession charge, police said.
The third man was interviewed and released at the scene.
Officers could see two guns inside the suspects’ car, which was impounded.
