SPD: Man arrested for tossing glass from downtown window

Two adults were taken to hospitals for minor injuries tonight, including a man who apparently broke a fourth-floor window, according to a Seattle fire department official.

Just after 6 p.m. a man at 601 Third Ave. was arrested for “throwing glass” from the fourth-floor window, according to a tweet from the Seattle Police Department.

A woman on the street below, in front of the Lyon Building, was treated for minor injuries and taken by private ambulance to an area hospital, said Lt. Sue Stangl, a fire department spokeswoman. The man was treated for lacerations on his hands, she said, and also taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

A Seattle police spokeswoman couldn’t be reached for comment.
