Motorcyclist dies in viaduct crash

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night after reportedly hitting a wall on the Alaskan Way Viaduct.

Seattle police said the man was dead at the scene following the 11:15 p.m. crash on the viaduct near South Royal Brougham Way.

There was no immediate report of any other vehicles involved in the accident near Safeco Field.   The northbound lanes of the viaduct were closed for about four hours during the investigation.
