‘Reluctant’ Seattle stabbing victim can’t describe his attacker

A “reluctant” stabbing victim couldn’t describe the attacker, but provided officers with a description of the knife, Seattle police said.

The man was stabbed in both thighs around 10 a.m. Tuesday near Victor Steinbrueck Park, according to police who found the bloodied 41-year-old victim sitting on a bench.

Police said the man was reluctant to talk to officers about what had happened and insisted he didn’t see the attacker, though he was able to describe the weapon.

The man also told officers he didn’t want to be listed as a victim in their report on the incident.

Seattle Fire Department medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center with what police described as non-life-threatening-injuries.
