Sunday Memo: 6 prior DUI arrests … The NFL for Keith Price? … Summer-like weather ahead

Good almost sunny Sunday.

Here’s some news:

Seriously? A guy who was busted for leading police on a high-speed chase while he was driving his Ferrari while drunk last year in Thurston County was sentenced to a year of work release Friday so he could continue running his business. OK, we don’t know all the facts, but the judge noted that the man, Shaun Goodman, had six prior DUI arrests. The Olympian has the story.

And in other crime, a 20-year-old Kent man was sentenced to nearly four years in prison after pleading guilty to forcing a 15-year-old girl into prostitution in the Tri-Cities.

Former UW quarterback Keith Price was not chosen by any team in the NFL draft, but the Seahawks have picked him up as an undrafted free agent.  Are you surprised he wasn’t drafted by any NFL team? Vote in our poll.

Are you ready for some nice weather? Of course you are. Sunny today, tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday, with temperatures in the mid- to upper 70s. Some folks say we could hit 80 later this week.  National Weather Service forecast
