TONASKET, Wash. (AP) â A 37-year-old librarian at Tonasket High School has been accused of having sex with an 18-year-old student.
The librarian was arrested Tuesday and made her first court appearance Wednesday in an Okanogan County court.
KXLY reports she was released without bail and ordered to have no contact with the student. She has not yet been charged but her arraignment is scheduled for June 2.
Superintendent Paul Turner says the school board held a special meeting Wednesday and voted to fire her immediately.
