Woman set on fire in Puyallup

PUYALLUP (AP) — A Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman says a man apparently doused a woman with a flammable liquid and lit her on fire Monday night at a Puyallup mobile home.

A woman called 911 about 8 p.m. to say she was on fire, spokesman Ed Troyer KOMO-TV. Responding deputies and fire crews found a mobile home on fire at the Hidden Glen Mobile Home Park.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Her condition was not known.

Troyer says deputies arrested a man a short time later. He also had been burned in the fire.
