Firefighters respond to accident with car into building in S. Seattle

Firefighters this afternoon responded to a two-car accident in which one car hit a building in South Seattle.

The car that struck the building at Rainier Avenue South and South Genesee Street caused a gas line to break, according to the Seattle Fire Department. Firefighters shut off the gas line.

The collision is under investigation by the Seattle Police Department.
