Police arrested two men and seized nine pounds of heroin last week after a drug-trafficking investigation, the Kent Police Department said today.
Officers arrested one of the men after he sold drugs to an undercover officer at a Kent hardware store last Thursday and seized six pounds of heroin, police said. The other man was arrested at a house where officers recovered two firearms and three more pounds of heroin.
The investigation began in early April.
Kent police worked with the Department of Homeland Security, the Seattle Fire Department, the Auburn Police Department and the Valley SWAT team.
