Police seek man caught masturbating at UW food court

Police are looking for a man who was caught masturbating in front of a woman in a food court at the University of Washington.

The victim told UW police she was seated in a booth at the food court in the Husky Union Building around 4:20 p.m. Friday when she saw the man masturbating while standing near her table. The man looked at the woman, said “I’m sorry,” pulled up his pants and quickly walked away, police said.

Police were called and searched the campus but did not find the man.

Police had a sketchy description of the man: 21-24 years of age, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, 140 to 160 pounds, with a thinner build and short black hair.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an unknown logo, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, UW police said.
