Seattle police officer slightly injured after collision in Interbay

A Seattle police officer had minor injuries after a two-car collision in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood this evening.

The officer was driving north on 15th Avenue West approaching West Boston Street shortly after 6 p.m. when an oncoming car made a left turn in front of the officer’s vehicle, resulting in the collision, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The officer had minor injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center as a precautionary measure, then released a short time later, SPD said. The other driver was uninjured.
