It didn’t take long for drivers to feel the pain of Friday night lane closures on westbound Interstate 90 in Bellevue. At about 9:30 p.m., the freeway was narrowed to just one lane at at choke point at Bellevue Way Southeast as part of a repair project on the bridge between Bellevue and Mercer Island. It will stay that way until next Friday morning.
At about 10 p.m., according to Washington State Department of Transportation, traffic was:
- Heavy at Issaquah
- Stop and go at Lake Sammamish
- Stop and go at Factoria
- Stop and go at Mercer Island
No crashes had been reported.
