Man shot outside South Lake Union bar

A man was shot twice early Saturday morning outside a Seattle bar in the 700 block of Westlake Avenue North.

According to police, the shooting was reported after a fight outside the same bar around 2 a.m.

Witnesses were not sure where the gunshots came from, but some described a car of people leaving the area, police said.

Later in the morning, a man arrived at Harborview Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the leg and buttocks. He told detectives he saw a fight and then heard and felt the shots.

Police are still investigating the shooting and ask that anyone with information call the tip line at 206-233-5000.
