Monday Memo: Eve of pot store openings … ‘Rolling gun battle’ … Italian interest in Yedlin

24 pot shop licenses were issued to retailers by the state overnight. Stores are slated to open no earlier than 8 a.m. tomorrow. Let the sales begin.

There was a “rolling gun battle” in Seattle overnight. Cops say people in two cars exchanged shots in South Seattle along Rainier Avenue South. And yesterday afternoon, a man and a woman were wounded in a West Seattle shooting.
