Renton woman accused of setting husband on fire arrested

Renton police have arrested a 40-year-old woman who they say poured gasoline on her husband and set him on fire Wednesday.

Police arrested Tatanysha M. Hedman on Thursday night for investigation of first-degree assault and first-degree arson. Police did not say where she was arrested.

The victim, a 52-year-old Renton man, walked into a 7-Eleven store at South 129th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South around 8 a.m. with serious but not life-threatening burns, according to Renton police. The man is being treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Police said the incident occurred at a nearby Renton apartment complex.
