Detectives continue to investigate a shooting spree in Skyway early Sunday morning that left six people injured, including one woman who suffered life-threatening wounds, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The sixth victim suffered a grazing wound that was treated at the scene with a Band-Aid, sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. DB Gates said this morning. “It was literally the least serious gunshot wound you could have,” she said.
Another victim suffered a grazing wound while four others were taken to area hospitals, she said. The most seriously injured, a woman, is being treated at Harborview Medical Center.
Gates said that while there were multiple witnesses to the shooting that occurred at 3:50 a.m. in a parking lot in the 12600 Renton Avenue South, no one has been willing to speak to law enforcement, she said.
Gates said investigators are canvassing the neighborhood for surveillance video that may have captured the shooting. The shooting, which happened in the parking lot outside of the former Club Afriq, involved at least two handguns and multiple rounds of ammunition, Gates said.
“No one is cooperative or wants to tell us what we believe they know,” she said.
