Two wounded in West Seattle shooting

A man and a woman were wounded in a West Seattle shooting Sunday afternoon, police say.

The couple showed up at Valley Medical Center in Renton saying they’d been shot at by a group of men while driving in the 9400 block of 15th Avenue Southwest, according to an online post by the Seattle Police Department.

The man was struck in the leg and the woman’s ear was grazed in the shooting, which occurred at about 2:15 p.m., police said.

Officers were searching the area, looking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident. Gang-unit detectives are conducting the investigation.

Seattle police urged anyone with information to call 911 and ask to speak with an officer.
