A Seattle-Bremerton ferry will make an extra round trip Friday evening to accommodate heavy foot traffic because of the Seahawks game.
The 1,200 passenger Sealth will depart Bremerton at 10:15 p.m. and Seattle at 11:30 p.m., according to Washington State Ferries. Passengers should expect heavier-than-normal foot traffic on ferries from Bremerton and Bainbridge Island on Friday evening, and they are encouraged to pre-purchase return ferry tickets online or at a kiosk.
Workers mistakenly allowed an extra 484 passengers to board a Seattle-bound ferry from Bremerton on Aug. 15. The Cathlamet was forced to turn back to Bremerton after staff realized the mistake and had to delay the ferry’s departure until enough passengers disembarked.
