Car of missing Everett woman, 89, found with body inside

Everett police say they located the car belonging to a missing 89-year-old Everett woman in bushes off 12th Street Northeast in Lake Stevens on Tuesday.

A body was inside the car, a 1987 Chevy Nova, but it has not yet been identified, according to a news release from the police department.

Ethel A. O’Neil has been missing since Wednesday afternoon last week. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the body and establish the cause and manner of death, the release says.
