The worker who was electrocuted at a construction project at Swedish Hospital’s Edmonds campus on Wednesday has been identified as a Pierce County man.
Jason E. Vanlandingham, 38, of South Prairie, died of high-voltage electrocution, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Vanlandingham was using a compressed air tool at the site of the hospital expansion project when he was electrocuted Wednesday afternoon, according to Edmonds police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner’s Office classified his death as an accident.
