Kennewick police make arrest in bearded-woman holdup case

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Police have arrested a woman suspected of robbing a Kennewick convenience store while disguised with fake facial hair.

The Tri-City Herald reports ) 35-year-old Brooke L. Hampton was arrested Wednesday at a Richland motel.

She’s accused robbing a store last month by claiming to have a gun. The robber wore fake hair on her face and spoke in a low voice.
